Here's a peek at my new body of work Titled "The Heart Of The Matter". It's a body of work that questions our existence and the things that we allow to come into our lives that can affect us. This work will examine how the battle between our hearts and minds lead us to make good and bad decisions that could ultimately put an end to our lives as we know it or lead us to a more positive and prosperous life. Fortunately, for me.......as a positive being I always look for the lessons and find a way to evolve. The work will be much different than what most have seen from me.........more surreal/abstract and alot of mixed media. My next exhibit will be April 24th, 2008. Previous Series Of Artwork: "How Do You Like Your Merlot?".
"How Do You Like Your Merlot" is a body of work that consists of many different women......different sizes, races, colors, styles, etc., drinking a glass of red wine (Merlot) in their favorite location or spot in their home or another location. I'm actually using real life, everyday average women in the community. Some ideas I have for paintings are: "Merlot In The Garden", "Merlot In The Tub", "Merlot On The Beach", etc, etc.
